It’s a journal comprised of multiple wild plant species. In this journal I explain the identifying features, the edibility of the plant, where to find the plant, and it’s various niche utilities. (1) · My project is basically talking about how social media changes our brains and how we deal with those changes. It talks about many statistics and studies that scientists and universities have done on the brain itself. (1) · This is the animation based off of my first art journal of freshman year. It shows things that I’ve seen, thought about, and experienced from my time at TSAS. This video encompasses ending this chapter of my life. (1)

Essentially this journal was going to be the back up to a video of me camping in the wilderness actually eating these plants. (1) · I described it the same: how social media effects a person and how it changes your mind. (1) · I started with an animation video explaining my plan to balance my practical job with my art job. (1)

I expanded the journal with drawings and utility. (1) · I had to change my Capstone some. I was going to interview people about how social media effects them specifically, but that obviously wasn’t able to happen. (1) · My first idea was scrapped because I found that I didn’t have a passion for any practical job and couldn’t be happy with settling for an office job. (1)

I really love what I’ve made, even if it doesn’t blow you away on the surface, this journal could really morph into something amazing. Sic parvis magna. (1) · I've realized I wasn’t happy with living a practical life. I’m not sure if I will go into animation but it’s my #1 option right now. It has the perfect balance of something I like to do and something that is difficult. (1) · I’m glad that I did something I was genuinely interested in. I use social media frequently so I was curious about the studies done on it. (1)
