I chose my senior capstone to be about photography and my progression within that. I’ve picked up technical shooting skills and am building a portfolio. To help further my enrichment in my Capstone, I took two photography classes this year. I worked hands-on with Ms. Butcher, brushing up on my com (1) · I did a PowerPoint presentation about the History of the Tulsa SPCA, the Service they provide, and the volunteering I did for them. (1) · My project is basically talking about how social media changes our brains and how we deal with those changes. It talks about many statistics and studies that scientists and universities have done on the brain itself. (1)

I described it the same: how social media effects a person and how it changes your mind. (1) · I said I would be doing a PowerPoint presentation on the history of the Tulsa SPCA. (1) · I was going to be volunteering at a local children’s museum. My capstone about this was to discuss the importance and livelihood of service to the community. (1)

Due to lack of enrichment and work, I decided to change my capstone to photography. Luckily enough, I had already been attending a photo class. Ms. Butcher took me under her wing right away to help brainstorm and envision how to build a portfolio and give an artist statement. (1) · I added information about the services they provide. (1) · I had to change my Capstone some. I was going to interview people about how social media effects them specifically, but that obviously wasn’t able to happen. (1)

I love working with animals and will look into careers with animals. (1) · I’m glad that I did something I was genuinely interested in. I use social media frequently so I was curious about the studies done on it. (1) · Our generation sadly cares more about passing than learning, though I don’t know who’s fault it is. (1)
