It began in 1914 after the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand and lasted until 1918. During the conflict, Germany, Austria-Hungary, Bulgaria and the Ottoman Empire (the Central Powers) fought against Great Britain, France, Russia, Italy, Romania, Japan and the United States (the Allied Powers (1) · It’s a journal comprised of multiple wild plant species. In this journal I explain the identifying features, the edibility of the plant, where to find the plant, and it’s various niche utilities. (1) · My project is about fire and its effect on humanity. Fire has shaped us since the very beginning, it was the first ever technological advancement that literally sparked everything for us. Fire is even theorized to be the reason we had the ability to evolve into what we are today. (1)

Essentially this journal was going to be the back up to a video of me camping in the wilderness actually eating these plants. (1) · Fire and its effect on us both in history and in modern day. (1) · I originally was going to do the history of chemical warfare. (1)

I expanded the journal with drawings and utility. (1) · I had to change from a tri-fold like presentation to a slideshow which honestly in hindsight worked a lot better and I was able to fit a lot more information on it. (1) · I was originally going to talk more about how it affects us in modern day but it's not as interesting as the history and fire sadly isn't used that much in the daily lives of modern people. (1)

I learned that Germany's at fault for bring Lenin into Russia which was a really risky move that I'm not entirely sure was worth it. (1) · I really love what I’ve made, even if it doesn’t blow you away on the surface, this journal could really morph into something amazing. Sic parvis magna. (1) · I really want to cook now, knowing the impact it has had on my ancestors. Also research can be fun. (1)
