Before this whole mess started, I was going to be a Stage Manager in our school’s musical production “The Addams Family.” I was given the position as stage manager because my teacher, Ms. Gates, saw me as a responsible student and trusted me to watch over a group of students. Fire has shaped us since the very beginning, it was the first ever technological advancement that literally sparked everything for us. Fire is even theorized to be the reason we had the ability to evolve into what we are today. (1)

Fire and its effect on us both in history and in modern day. (1) · I originally was going to do the history of chemical warfare. (1) · I started off with wanting to teach myself how to crochet, but after talking with Ms Gates, she helped me to decide what I wanted to do with my Capstone. (1)

I had to change from a tri-fold like presentation to a slideshow which honestly in hindsight worked a lot better and I was able to fit a lot more information on it. (1) · I was originally going to talk more about how it affects us in modern day but it's not as interesting as the history and fire sadly isn't used that much in the daily lives of modern people. I was excited for the upcoming Musical at our school, but Covid-19 started to spread and unfortunately school had to close and the musical was cancelled. I learned that Germany's at fault for bring Lenin into Russia which was a really risky move that I'm not entirely sure was worth it.
