My project is about fire and its effect on humanity. Fire has shaped us since the very beginning, it was the first ever technological advancement that literally sparked everything for us. Fire is even theorized to be the reason we had the ability to evolve into what we are today. (1)

I originally was going to do the history of chemical warfare. (1) ·
I started with the intention to write the whole book, which would look somewhere around 20 or so chapters. I knew it wouldn't have happened in the end, but I wanted to set the end goal for myself. (1)

I had to change from a tri-fold like presentation to a slideshow which honestly in hindsight worked a lot better and I was able to fit a lot more information on it. (1) ·
I instead ended up writing 3 chapters and editing them, and, while I'm not the most proud of how they turned out, I'm glad I was able to finally put out some drafts for later writing. (1) ·
I was originally going to talk more about how it affects us in modern day but it's not as interesting as the history and fire sadly isn't used that much in the daily lives of modern people. (1)

I learned that Germany's at fault for bring Lenin into Russia which was a really risky move that I'm not entirely sure was worth it. (1) ·
I really want to cook now, knowing the impact it has had on my ancestors. Also research can be fun. (1) ·
I've grown immensely as a writer, both objectively and subjectively. I learned how to write and compose scenes of a narrative more clearly, and to make less mistakes and convey my image in better ways. The most important thing I gained from this project however, was better confidence in my own writi (1)
