My advice for the next seniors. . . hmmmm. Capstone-wise, choose something that challenges you but it also excites you. It is supposed to be something that connects to what you want to do in the future so it should be something you enjoy.

I originally started out with an idea to create a book about the physio-psychological impacts of music. But as time went on I kept gravitating towards piano and eventually decided to make a song on piano instead. (1) ·
It was supposed to be like a Ted Talk where I would have more visuals and charts, but I didn't have as much time to put it together so I did the best I could. (1) ·

After deciding not to write the book, I felt more comfortable and natural making my capstone with a piano rather than a pencil. I started spending hours at the piano at home. It's kind of similar, but my original idea was based on in person interaction so to change it to be solely online was pretty disappointing. I was still able to get my main point across with relevancy to my career, but I wish it could've been done differently. (1) ·
The core of it went well and I'm pleased with my portfolio. However, as an extra thing I had wanted to include a video to play alongside my portfolio at the capstone booth that would've been essentially a sped up slideshow of all my negatives. The project name was going to be Animal Health including other animals as well but I couldn't include them unfortunately due to having to move. (1)

i learned that even though I won't get a grade out of finishing the dance, it is something I want to do. I want to finish it and see it through the end, I think its worth it if i want to further my skills and techniques in dancing. (1) ·
I learned that everyone struggles with personal stuff, and that you shouldn't procrastinate everything. (1) ·
I learned that not all dog breeds are the same with sicknesses or even injuries, I also learned how to sanitize properly and safely for animals. The takeaways were having to realize that not all you try to save might make it, but at least you tried and gave them hope at the end. (1) ·
I wouldn't say I have any takeaways from the capstone itself, but I do think it served as a catalyst to hone in on my photography. (1) ·
Overall I've learned that I'm capable of writing sheet music. I've improved my playing skills and I've also greatly improved my sheet music skills. Knowing that I created this song makes me feel even more confident about the other works I will come to create in my life. I've also learned that gettin (1)
