I began building the structure of my future business: crocheting things to make people smile. (1) · I made a video containing a poem read off by me and my three competition dances from senior year. (1) · I've always loved working with kids! I've been volunteering at Mark Twain Elementary for years with my previous teachers and with my youth group. I decided to do my capstone on early childhood learning. I volunteered weekly with Joyce Hembree, a Pre-K teacher at Mark Twain. I assisted her in teachin (1) · My project is about fire and its effect on humanity. Fire has shaped us since the very beginning, it was the first ever technological advancement that literally sparked everything for us. I was going to take videos of some of the teachers and students asking about their experience thr (1) · I decided to focus more on the photography part of my project, and that's when I expanded to digital as well as color film. (1) · I have tracked my progress leading up to my store opening and my improvements in quality. (1) · I used a poem and added my two other dances. (1) · I was originally going to talk more about how it affects us in modern day but it's not as interesting as the history and fire sadly isn't used that much in the daily lives of modern people. (1) · The core of it went well and I'm pleased with my portfolio. However, as an extra thing I had wanted to include a video to play alongside my portfolio at the capstone booth that would've been essentially a sped up slideshow of all my negatives. They would be in order from freshman year to my senior y (1) · The game project would have needed more time for us to fully learn Unity and C#, so we were forced to switch to building a computer. This project was still at least in the field of computer science so it still applied to what I will go on to study in college. (1) · The video was a complete 180 from what I was going to do, which was a bulletin board, but I think it turned out pretty well. (1) · Things did go as planned when I moved to doing art work. I was doing the Children's museum and then I changed it to art because I know more about art. (1) · Things didn't exactly go as planned with everything going on (of course): I still have prints in the darkroom and all of my photo paper. I'm using what I already have, which in my opinion I think is still enough. (1)
