All I can say is plan ahead and plan early. · Capstone can seem really overwhelming at first, but it's really what you make and take away from it. It is a great way to show your creativity and teach others about something you learned. Definitely start brainstorming ideas because your capstone might change from what you initially thought it woul · Capstone isn’t that difficult, choose something you’re interested in it will make it easier! · Choose something that interests you, something you're passionate about. Don't choose a project because you think it will be easy, choose one that you will benefit and intrigue you. Stand out, be unique, and have fun with it. · Determination and being honest with yourself is key—don't sign yourself up for a project that's too much to handle no matter how ideal it sounds. Choose one you won't grow tired of and can stay dedicated to through and through. · Do it as fast as you can because you can’t predict what can happen. · Do it. · Do not procrastinate. No matter how much you want to, don't do it. Because you're going to regret it. Ask your teachers for help because I promise you they want to help, and they want you to succeed. · Do what interests you, even if it has nothing to do with your House. · Do what you love and know. · Don't be too hard on yourself. If you don't meet your own expectations, or anyone else's, that isn't necessarily the worst thing in the world. Room for improvement is just that. You do what you can do, and you keep going. If someone else is accomplishing a lot, but you can't do as much, that doesn't · Don't do what I did, it did not work out lmao. · Don't get to attached to your first idea, because it's going to change and one thing I had to let go, well try to let go, was my need to have everything be perfect, because it won't be perfect but you have to still do it and can't give up. · Don't miss out on opportunities that I wish I have taken more advantage of. I hope by seeing all the seniors' presentations you are inspired to know what you want to do for your career. · Don't rush your Senior year! I was so excited for Senior year to start so that I could be done with high school. When my last year ended abruptly due to Covid-19 I realized that I wasn't ready for it to be over. It began in 1914 after the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand and lasted until 1918. During the conflict, Germany, Austria-Hungary, Bulgaria and the Ottoman Empire (the Central Powers) fought against Great Britain, France, Russia, Italy, Romania, Japan and the United States (the Allied Powers (1) · It’s a journal comprised of multiple wild plant species. In this journal I explain the identifying features, the edibility of the plant, where to find the plant, and it’s various niche utilities. (1) · Well essentially its my photography portfolio. All images are black and white film dark room prints that have been scanned in; other than one color film negative scan. The portfolio had two goals for me: the capstone and submissions for OSAI Quartz Mountain. I can now proudly say both goals have bee (1)

A portfolio of my photography work. (1) · Essentially this journal was going to be the back up to a video of me camping in the wilderness actually eating these plants. (1) · I originally was going to do the history of chemical warfare. (1)

I expanded the journal with drawings and utility. (1) · I had to change from a tri-fold like presentation to a slideshow which honestly in hindsight worked a lot better and I was able to fit a lot more information on it. (1) · The core of it went well and I'm pleased with my portfolio. However, as an extra thing I had wanted to include a video to play alongside my portfolio at the capstone booth that would've been essentially a sped up slideshow of all my negatives. They would be in order from freshman year to my senior y (1)

I learned that Germany's at fault for bring Lenin into Russia which was a really risky move that I'm not entirely sure was worth it. (1) · I really love what I’ve made, even if it doesn’t blow you away on the surface, this journal could really morph into something amazing. Sic parvis magna. (1) · I wouldn't say I have any takeaways from the capstone itself, but I do think it served as a catalyst to hone in on my photography. (1)
