It began in 1914 after the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand and lasted until 1918. During the conflict, Germany, Austria-Hungary, Bulgaria and the Ottoman Empire (the Central Powers) fought against Great Britain, France, Russia, Italy, Romania, Japan and the United States (the Allied Powers (1) · My project is about fire and its effect on humanity. Fire has shaped us since the very beginning, it was the first ever technological advancement that literally sparked everything for us. Fire is even theorized to be the reason we had the ability to evolve into what we are today. (1) · Throughout the year I have been shooting digital and film photography. I have been experimenting by using black and white as well as color film, and Photoshop! I have taken this opportunity to expand my portfolio. (1)

Our cultures may be different, and our · I had always planned to involve my art in my capstone. · I originally described it as a furthering of talents I already had — learning composition for drawings and paintings, making my own molds and designing my own resin pieces, and learning how to sew better (I had basic knowledge before). · I originally started out with an idea to create a book about the physio-psychological impacts of music. But as time went on I kept gravitating towards piano and eventually decided to make a song on piano instead. · I originally was going to do the history of chemical warfare. · I originally was writing a blog on the different hobbies and skills I was teaching myself and documenting the progress and how it shaped me as a person. · I planned a beekeeping project but never started. · I planned on doing my project on my cross country training. · I said I would be doing a PowerPoint presentation on the history of the Tulsa SPCA.

I decided to focus more on the photography part of my project, and that's when I expanded to digital as well as color film. (1) · I had to change from a tri-fold like presentation to a slideshow which honestly in hindsight worked a lot better and I was able to fit a lot more information on it. (1) · I was originally going to talk more about how it affects us in modern day but it's not as interesting as the history and fire sadly isn't used that much in the daily lives of modern people. (1)

I learned I actually really enjoy color film and I think I'll be using it a lot more often now. (1) · I learned that Germany's at fault for bring Lenin into Russia which was a really risky move that I'm not entirely sure was worth it. (1) · I really want to cook now, knowing the impact it has had on my ancestors. Also research can be fun. (1)
