My project is basically talking about how social media changes our brains and how we deal with those changes. It talks about many statistics and studies that scientists and universities have done on the brain itself. (1) · This is the animation based off of my first art journal of freshman year. It shows things that I’ve seen, thought about, and experienced from my time at TSAS. This video encompasses ending this chapter of my life. (1) · Well essentially its my photography portfolio. All images are black and white film dark room prints that have been scanned in; other than one color film negative scan. It was exactly as I ended up with! I wanted to expose people to the concept of our differences being skin deep. Regardless of our born identities, we aren't different. Our cultures may be different, and our · I had always planned to involve my art in my capstone. · I originally described it as a furthering of talents I already had — learning composition for drawings and paintings, making my own molds and designing my own resin pieces, and learning how to sew better (I had basic knowledge before). · I originally started out with an idea to create a book about the physio-psychological impacts of music. But as time went on I kept gravitating towards piano and eventually decided to make a song on piano instead. · I originally was going to do the history of chemical warfare. · I originally was writing a blog on the different hobbies and skills I was teaching myself and documenting the progress and how it shaped me as a person. · I planned a beekeeping project but never started. · I planned on doing my project on my cross country training. · I said I would be doing a PowerPoint presentation on the history of the Tulsa SPCA.

I had to change my Capstone some. I was going to interview people about how social media effects them specifically, but that obviously wasn’t able to happen. (1) · My first idea was scrapped because I found that I didn’t have a passion for any practical job and couldn’t be happy with settling for an office job. (1) · The core of it went well and I'm pleased with my portfolio. However, as an extra thing I had wanted to include a video to play alongside my portfolio at the capstone booth that would've been essentially a sped up slideshow of all my negatives. They would be in order from freshman year to my senior y (1)

I wouldn't say I have any takeaways from the capstone itself, but I do think it served as a catalyst to hone in on my photography. (1) · I've realized I wasn’t happy with living a practical life. I’m not sure if I will go into animation but it’s my #1 option right now. It has the perfect balance of something I like to do and something that is difficult. (1) · I’m glad that I did something I was genuinely interested in. I use social media frequently so I was curious about the studies done on it. (1)
