I think that really making it about something you're already passionate about is super important. It's only as much extra work as you make it really. My paper is fairly concise but it's the accumulation of work I've been doing for a long time. Don't write it off immediately and finish it in the end, (1) · I want to tell all the rising seniors to strive for what you want in life and don't give up because God has a plan for everyone have faith. (1) · My capstone is a summary (more or less) of the work I've been doing on myself over the past 3ish years and what I have learned over that time. At first it was more physical, but it turns out that way more work had to be done mentally. It was originally longer but I trimmed out parts that weren't nee (1) · Well essentially its my photography portfolio. All images are black and white film dark room prints that have been scanned in; other than one color film negative scan. The portfolio had two goals for me: the capstone and submissions for OSAI Quartz Mountain. I can now proudly say both goals have bee (1)

None · A 8 part sitcom series. · A collection of short stories coupled with paintings. · A portfolio of my photography work. · A poster-board paired with a paper I'd write on learning how to learn. · A sort of TED talk like presentation. · An interactive project that includes resources for people without insurance or documentation that may need to reach out, all of the resources listed will have bilingual services available, it would also include, artwork and a photo gallery. · Essentially this journal was going to be the back up to a video of me camping in the wilderness actually eating these plants. · Fire and its effect on us both in history and in modern day. · I decided to volunteer with elementary school kids at Mark Twain Elementary and later on at the Common Good. · I described it the same: how social media effects a person and how it changes your mind. · I described my capstone as "a series of paintings that speak for different types of people." It was exactly as I ended up with! I wanted to expose people to the concept of our differences being skin deep. Regardless of our born identities, we aren't different. Our cultures may be different, and our · I had always planned to involve my art in my capstone. · I originally described it as a furthering of talents I already had — learning composition for drawings and paintings, making my own molds and designing my own resin pieces, and learning how to sew better (I had basic knowledge before). · I originally started out with an idea to create a book about the physio-psychological impacts of music. But as time went on I kept gravitating towards piano and eventually decided to make a song on piano instead. · I originally was going to do the history of chemical warfare. · I originally was writing a blog on the different hobbies and skills I was teaching myself and documenting the progress and how it shaped me as a person. · I planned a beekeeping project but never started. · I planned on doing my project on my cross country training. · I said I would be doing a PowerPoint presentation on the history of the Tulsa SPCA.

I had to ditch the poster-board aspect due to the circumstances, and my goals for me have evolved majorly since it was assigned as well. That lesson of learning how to learn is still very important, but now it's more focused on discipline and being emotionally healthy. (1) · The core of it went well and I'm pleased with my portfolio. However, as an extra thing I had wanted to include a video to play alongside my portfolio at the capstone booth that would've been essentially a sped up slideshow of all my negatives. They would be in order from freshman year to my senior y (1) · Yes Things went as planned and no nothing was adjusted. (1)

I learned a lot about me, and the "demons" I have. I feel not near as powerless as I did to them even just a little while ago. I'm learning to heal the mental things that need to be healed and grow in a healthy way, and not feel like a core part of me is a mistake and has to be hidden away. (1) · I learned that you shouldn't be afraid to put yourself out there. My takeaway is that this project is very important to me. (1) · I wouldn't say I have any takeaways from the capstone itself, but I do think it served as a catalyst to hone in on my photography. (1)
