Capstone can seem really overwhelming at first, but it's really what you make and take away from it. It is a great way to show your creativity and teach others about something you learned. Definitely start brainstorming ideas because your capstone might change from what you initially thought it woul (1) · I think that really making it about something you're already passionate about is super important. It's only as much extra work as you make it really. My paper is fairly concise but it's the accumulation of work I've been doing for a long time. Don't write it off immediately and finish it in the end, (1) · Start early and gradually work on it. (1)

My capstone is a summary (more or less) of the work I've been doing on myself over the past 3ish years and what I have learned over that time. At first it was more physical, but it turns out that way more work had to be done mentally. It was originally longer but I trimmed out parts that weren't nee (1) · My capstone shows how to make brownies from scratch that mimic the brownies you see in stores. I will show my recipe and ingredients and compare them to the ingredients in the store bought brownies. I researched what all is in the Little Debbie cosmic brownies and made my recipe to match the look of (1) · Well essentially its my photography portfolio. All images are black and white film dark room prints that have been scanned in; other than one color film negative scan. The portfolio had two goals for me: the capstone and submissions for OSAI Quartz Mountain. I can now proudly say both goals have bee (1)

Our cultures may be different, and our · I had always planned to involve my art in my capstone. · I originally described it as a furthering of talents I already had — learning composition for drawings and paintings, making my own molds and designing my own resin pieces, and learning how to sew better (I had basic knowledge before). · I originally started out with an idea to create a book about the physio-psychological impacts of music. But as time went on I kept gravitating towards piano and eventually decided to make a song on piano instead. · I originally was going to do the history of chemical warfare. · I originally was writing a blog on the different hobbies and skills I was teaching myself and documenting the progress and how it shaped me as a person. · I planned a beekeeping project but never started. · I planned on doing my project on my cross country training. · I said I would be doing a PowerPoint presentation on the history of the Tulsa SPCA.

I decided on top of showing how to bake from scratch.I would also compare the ingredients to store bought baked goods which often have a lot more preservatives and additives. I would definitely say things went as planned and the brownies turned out great. (1) · I had to ditch the poster-board aspect due to the circumstances, and my goals for me have evolved majorly since it was assigned as well. That lesson of learning how to learn is still very important, but now it's more focused on discipline and being emotionally healthy. (1) · The core of it went well and I'm pleased with my portfolio. However, as an extra thing I had wanted to include a video to play alongside my portfolio at the capstone booth that would've been essentially a sped up slideshow of all my negatives. I learned a lot about me, and the "demons" I have. I feel not near as powerless as I did to them even just a little while ago. I'm learning to heal the mental things that need to be healed and grow in a healthy way, and not feel like a core part of me is a mistake and has to be hidden away. (1) · I wouldn't say I have any takeaways from the capstone itself, but I do think it served as a catalyst to hone in on my photography. (1) · This project was my first time making brownies in particular from scratch. I was also modeling my recipe so they would look similar to the cosmic brownies I compared them to.
