My project is about fire and its effect on humanity. Fire has shaped us since the very beginning, it was the first ever technological advancement that literally sparked everything for us. Fire is even theorized to be the reason we had the ability to evolve into what we are today. (1) · This project is a brief history on the subject of intolerance and racism. Many racial crimes and histories have been buried and replaced with perfect stories that idealize white men. But as time went on I kept gravitating towards piano and eventually decided to make a song on piano instead. · I originally was going to do the history of chemical warfare. · I originally was writing a blog on the different hobbies and skills I was teaching myself and documenting the progress and how it shaped me as a person. · I planned a beekeeping project but never started. · I planned on doing my project on my cross country training. · I said I would be doing a PowerPoint presentation on the history of the Tulsa SPCA.

I live very close to Greenwood and my teacher pointed out how vastly important the anniversary was. I felt a responsibility to honor the deaths and educate others on how to prevent these tragedies in the future. (1) · I was originally going to talk more about how it affects us in modern day but it's not as interesting as the history and fire sadly isn't used that much in the daily lives of modern people. (1) · Things didn't exactly go as planned with everything going on (of course): I still have prints in the darkroom and all of my photo paper. I'm using what I already have, which in my opinion I think is still enough. (1)

I became a better artist, and I had fewer screw-ups. I have a lot more experience than I do a year ago, for sure, especially with exposures and printing images. (1) · I have learned that changing your mind is okay and that once I find something I am very passionate about, it is easy to follow through. (1) · I really want to cook now, knowing the impact it has had on my ancestors. Also research can be fun. (1)
