I did a PowerPoint presentation about the History of the Tulsa SPCA, the Service they provide, and the volunteering I did for them. (1) · This project is a brief history on the subject of intolerance and racism. Many racial crimes and histories have been buried and replaced with perfect stories that idealize white men. In this project I expose the buried truths that have been ignored for centuries, so people can understand the origin (1) · Well essentially its my photography portfolio. All images are black and white film dark room prints that have been scanned in; other than one color film negative scan. Our cultures may be different, and our · I had always planned to involve my art in my capstone. · I originally described it as a furthering of talents I already had — learning composition for drawings and paintings, making my own molds and designing my own resin pieces, and learning how to sew better (I had basic knowledge before). · I originally started out with an idea to create a book about the physio-psychological impacts of music. But as time went on I kept gravitating towards piano and eventually decided to make a song on piano instead. · I originally was going to do the history of chemical warfare. · I originally was writing a blog on the different hobbies and skills I was teaching myself and documenting the progress and how it shaped me as a person. · I planned a beekeeping project but never started. · I planned on doing my project on my cross country training. · I said I would be doing a PowerPoint presentation on the history of the Tulsa SPCA.

I added information about the services they provide. (1) · I live very close to Greenwood and my teacher pointed out how vastly important the anniversary was. I felt a responsibility to honor the deaths and educate others on how to prevent these tragedies in the future. (1) · The core of it went well and I'm pleased with my portfolio. However, as an extra thing I had wanted to include a video to play alongside my portfolio at the capstone booth that would've been essentially a sped up slideshow of all my negatives. I have learned that changing your mind is okay and that once I find something I am very passionate about, it is easy to follow through. (1) · I love working with animals and will look into careers with animals. (1) · I wouldn't say I have any takeaways from the capstone itself, but I do think it served as a catalyst to hone in on my photography. (1)
