Don't get to attached to your first idea, because it's going to change and one thing I had to let go, well try to let go, was my need to have everything be perfect, because it won't be perfect but you have to still do it and can't give up. (1) ·

My capstone project was an indoor irrigation system for the plants on top of the book shelves in the Commons. My initial idea was to document the process of becoming a shift supervisor at Starbucks, but because my store was in need of a supervisor and everyone I worked with was waiting on me to turn 18 so I could promote anyway, I ended up skipping a lot of the process. I have been super excited about presenting everything I have learned working at Starbucks and promoting within the company since we heard about the capstone project at the end of our sophomore year! It felt like I had to completely change my project. I had to downsize everything and almost start over. I lost the capability to set up the system how I had originally designed it. In order for the new system to work I had to completely change the way that the water was going to flow to the plants. (1) ·
So it was going as planned, and I even had a backup which is my book I'm writing but I didn't finish my book in time and I wasn't really impressed my how I wrote in my blog, so I changed it to my depop shop, that way all my work is the same but just presented in a different fashion. (1) ·
Things didn't go exactly as planned, of course as stated many times it's not the most polished thing in the world but I feel like I could have maybe added more. (1)

As I put this project together (gather photos and look through artifacts) I am realizing more and more that my coworkers are the best part of my job. From starting as a barista and working alongside most of them to learning from my supervisors (and friends) to becoming one of them. All of my barista (1) ·
I did the best that I could with the time that I had. I made a system that worked and that watered my plants. It is not nearly as fancy or sophisticated as I had originally planned on it being, but I still made it happen and I am proud of it. It was a struggle and a half to completely spin and start (1) ·
Well I learned how to embroider, and a bunch of other little skills like that. I also have been able to explore subcultures that I enjoy through fashion, and making mainly jewelry based off of them. It, over all, was a really fun project and I got to know myself better through it. (1) ·
While going to the Tulsa Tech for this capstone, I've learned many different things. Sure there was the initial cyber security, but I've also learned small bits of networking, and operating systems. Mainly different types of cyber attacks as shown in the slideshow, but also different types of connec (1)
