My project is about fire and its effect on humanity. Fire has shaped us since the very beginning, it was the first ever technological advancement that literally sparked everything for us. Fire is even theorized to be the reason we had the ability to evolve into what we are today. (1) ·
My project is about the issues we currently have with our death investigation system. My hope is to bring awareness to the lack of funding, standards and accreditation of this system. Many professionals in this field are not even certified and that is a huge problem. I would like everyone to be awar (1) ·
Well essentially its my photography portfolio. All images are black and white film dark room prints that have been scanned in; other than one color film negative scan. The portfolio had two goals for me: the capstone and submissions for OSAI Quartz Mountain. I can now proudly say both goals have bee (1)

This project is intended to bring awareness to the problems with our death investigation system, because there are many. This is not a common topic of conversation so not many people are aware of these issues and that is a problem. (1)
I was originally going to talk more about how it affects us in modern day but it's not as interesting as the history and fire sadly isn't used that much in the daily lives of modern people. (1) ·
My plan was to inform everyone that I could about something I feel strongly about. Everyone I have ever shared this information with didn't know about it and agreed something needs to be done. So the purpose was to make people aware and hopefully start the conversation. So far it has gone according (1) ·
The core of it went well and I'm pleased with my portfolio. However, as an extra thing I had wanted to include a video to play alongside my portfolio at the capstone booth that would've been essentially a sped up slideshow of all my negatives. They would be in order from freshman year to my senior y (1)
I really want to cook now, knowing the impact it has had on my ancestors. Also research can be fun. (1) ·
I wouldn't say I have any takeaways from the capstone itself, but I do think it served as a catalyst to hone in on my photography. (1) ·
This project made me wonder how many more systems that are in place have major issues such as this one and how can we fix them to better those systems so that they continue to work for us not against us. (1)
