My project is about fire and its effect on humanity. Fire has shaped us since the very beginning, it was the first ever technological advancement that literally sparked everything for us. Fire is even theorized to be the reason we had the ability to evolve into what we are today. (1) · This project is a brief history on the subject of intolerance and racism. Many racial crimes and histories have been buried and replaced with perfect stories that idealize white men. I live very close to Greenwood and my teacher pointed out how vastly important the anniversary was. I felt a responsibility to honor the deaths and educate others on how to prevent these tragedies in the future. (1) · I was originally going to talk more about how it affects us in modern day but it's not as interesting as the history and fire sadly isn't used that much in the daily lives of modern people. (1) · The game project would have needed more time for us to fully learn Unity and C#, so we were forced to switch to building a computer. This project was still at least in the field of computer science so it still applied to what I will go on to study in college. (1)

I have learned that changing your mind is okay and that once I find something I am very passionate about, it is easy to follow through. (1) · I now know with great detail how all the parts in a computer fit together and can build a computer from the ground up without the assistance of my friend and mentor.
