Don't be too hard on yourself. If you don't meet your own expectations, or anyone else's, that isn't necessarily the worst thing in the world. Room for improvement is just that. You do what you can do, and you keep going. If someone else is accomplishing a lot, but you can't do as much, that doesn't (1) · Don't get to attached to your first idea, because it's going to change and one thing I had to let go, well try to let go, was my need to have everything be perfect, because it won't be perfect but you have to still do it and can't give up. (1) · HAVE A BACKUP PLAN!! And a backup plan for that. But remember there is a such thing as too safe. Let loose but be prepared for failures and lessons. (1)

My capstone is my depop shop. I started making jewelry sophomore year, and selling it. This year I expanded it by learning other skills, such as sewing stuffed animals and embroidery. So my presentation is me explaining how I started it, my inspiration, how I package orders, and stuff like that. (1) · My original capstone project was to create an irrigation system for the plants in the Commons on top of the bookshelf. I designed the dropper, the base, end caps, the hose splitter, and connectors. I have my irrigation system put together on a metal shelf that I bought to finish the project. My irri (1) · This is a written work discussing personal projects and studies in horticulture, and how passionate interests can make a difference in the way we handle negative situations. It isn't all I had wanted it to be, but I think it still delivers the message I wanted to get across. (1)

I originally was writing a blog on the different hobbies and skills I was teaching myself and documenting the progress and how it shaped me as a person. (1) · My capstone project was an indoor irrigation system for the plants on top of the book shelves in the Commons. The irrigation system was to be automated and would only need for the reservoir to be filled every so often; everything else would be taken care of by the system. The system would run off of (1) · The first project I had decided on was to make a book of simple pleasures, in order to create something that could have a positive impact on both me and other people. In a way I came back around to that same theme although centralized on gardening and horticulture. (1)

It felt like I had to completely change my project. I had to downsize everything and almost start over. I lost the capability to set up the system how I had originally designed it. In order for the new system to work I had to completely change the way that the water was going to flow to the plants. (1) · So it was going as planned, and I even had a backup which is my book I'm writing but I didn't finish my book in time and I wasn't really impressed my how I wrote in my blog, so I changed it to my depop shop, that way all my work is the same but just presented in a different fashion. (1) · Things absolutely did not go as planned, and I changed my project idea multiple times. In the end, a combination of procrastination, executive dysfunction, depression, and inability to focus left me with nothing to work with and little time to put something together. I did the best that I could with the time that I had. I made a system that worked and that watered my plants. It is not nearly as fancy or sophisticated as I had originally planned on it being, but I still made it happen and I am proud of it. It was a struggle and a half to completely spin and start (1) · The project is nothing like I pictured it would be in the beginning, but I think that's okay. The purpose of capstone was to get us to do something new, and, in kind of an indirect way, I have done that. Hopefully that will be enough. Nothing about this end to my senior year is really satisfying or (1) · Well I learned how to embroider, and a bunch of other little skills like that. I also have been able to explore subcultures that I enjoy through fashion, and making mainly jewelry based off of them. It, over all, was a really fun project and I got to know myself better through it. (1)
