Fire has shaped us since the very beginning, it was the first ever technological advancement that literally sparked everything for us. Fire is even theorized to be the reason we had the ability to evolve into what we are today. (1) · This is the animation based off of my first art journal of freshman year. A sort of TED talk like presentation. (1) · Fire and its effect on us both in history and in modern day. (1) · I started with an animation video explaining my plan to balance my practical job with my art job. (1)

I was originally going to talk more about how it affects us in modern day but it's not as interesting as the history and fire sadly isn't used that much in the daily lives of modern people. (1) · My first idea was scrapped because I found that I didn’t have a passion for any practical job and couldn’t be happy with settling for an office job. (1) · Things didn't go exactly as planned, of course as stated many times it's not the most polished thing in the world but I feel like I could have maybe added more. (1)

I really want to cook now, knowing the impact it has had on my ancestors. Also research can be fun. (1) · I've realized I wasn’t happy with living a practical life. I’m not sure if I will go into animation but it’s my #1 option right now. It has the perfect balance of something I like to do and something that is difficult.
