I have been a Starbucks Partner for over two years, of that I was a barista for 11 months, a trainer for 9 and a Supervisor for the last 6. It took two separate interviews with two different store managers to finally get the job, but as soon as I did I fell in love with the job, my store, and cowork (1) ·
My project is about canine health and how I helped my dogs with common sicknesses or injuries that they could have gotten from walks or going to the dog park. (1) ·
This is a project of just my everyday life at Tulsa Tech. It also shows the difference between it and a traditional high school. Also how it affected my future and also how it helped me get jobs, internship, etc. (1)

My initial idea was to document the process of becoming a shift supervisor at Starbucks, but because my store was in need of a supervisor and everyone I worked with was waiting on me to turn 18 so I could promote anyway, I ended up skipping a lot of the process. The project name was going to be Animal Health including other animals as well but I couldn't include them unfortunately due to having to move. (1) ·
Yeah, they went as planned. I had originally planned to do it with my other friends who went to Tulsa Tech, so you could see the comparison between the experiences. (1)

As I put this project together (gather photos and look through artifacts) I am realizing more and more that my coworkers are the best part of my job. From starting as a barista and working alongside most of them to learning from my supervisors (and friends) to becoming one of them. All of my barista (1) ·
I learned that not all dog breeds are the same with sicknesses or even injuries, I also learned how to sanitize properly and safely for animals. The takeaways were having to realize that not all you try to save might make it, but at least you tried and gave them hope at the end. (1) ·
It just helped me realize how much TulsaTech has done for me. (1)
