Be your own best friend. (1) · Capstone isn’t that difficult, choose something you’re interested in it will make it easier! (1) · Choose something that interests you, something you're passionate about. Don't choose a project because you think it will be easy, choose one that you will benefit and intrigue you. Stand out, be unique, and have fun with it. (1) · Do it as fast as you can because you can’t predict what can happen. (1) · HAVE A BACKUP PLAN!! And a backup plan for that. But remember there is a such thing as too safe. Let loose but be prepared for failures and lessons. (1) · Have fun in your capstone class but don't forget to actually do your work, and do your artifacts they will help more than you think! (1) · If it's hard, the reward is more fulfilling. If you have a skill or talent, pursue it, don't wait for tomorrow or next week. All the time you have is now. Years from now when you see your practice pay off is when you truly appreciate practice. (1) · Make a plan at the beginning of the year, see if it is possible or acceptable, see how everything is going to work, and give it your best. (1) · Make sure you plan out your capstone well, and set your goals reasonably accounting for personal work ethic. (1) · My advice for the next seniors. . . hmmmm. Capstone-wise, choose something that challenges you but it also excites you. It is supposed to be something that connects to what you want to do in the future so it should be something you enjoy. For just senior year in general, enjoy the moments you have (1) · Plan what you want to do. I have friends who are astounding in their fields and can easily create a project. They know how to do research and can acquire the skills needed to complete whatever they want. If this is not true to you, TSAS has a wonderful and talented staff willing to help you. The und (1) · Take as many notes as possible and stay organized. (1) · While you should have everything for the most part planned, don't go into it thinking too much and have your expectations for yourself too high. Don't freak out when things start to look different than how you originally planned it to. (1)

A slide show of some of the topics I went through in the TulsaTech class "Cyber security and forensics." Though it may not be the most polished thing in the world, I wanted to at least make the average computer/phone user aware of the different types of security threats that one could face while onl (1) · I created a website that details the life story of each player on the roster. (1) · I made a video containing a poem read off by me and my three competition dances from senior year. (1) · I wrote and recorded two original songs and recorded two cover songs. I made a Google Slides presentation to document all of my processes. (1) · It’s a journal comprised of multiple wild plant species. In this journal I explain the identifying features, the edibility of the plant, where to find the plant, and it’s various niche utilities. (1) · My original capstone project was to create an irrigation system for the plants in the Commons on top of the bookshelf. I designed the dropper, the base, end caps, the hose splitter, and connectors. I have my irrigation system put together on a metal shelf that I bought to finish the project. My irri (1) · My project entails a brief history of clogging, then goes into my journey of musical theatre and how it led me to tap dancing. This lead me on the road to learning a new, different type of dance that I never considered before. (1) · My project is a song that I've been working on since the beginning of September. It started out as a simple chord in a certain key signature and evolved greatly from that. (1) · My project is about fire and its effect on humanity. Fire has shaped us since the very beginning, it was the first ever technological advancement that literally sparked everything for us. Fire is even theorized to be the reason we had the ability to evolve into what we are today. (1) · My project is about the issues we currently have with our death investigation system. My hope is to bring awareness to the lack of funding, standards and accreditation of this system. Many professionals in this field are not even certified and that is a huge problem. I would like everyone to be awar (1) · We use computers every day of our lives, but have you ever stopped to ask what all the parts inside your computer do? I decided to tackle that question head on by having my friend and computer expert Maxwell Mahabir walk me through the process of building myself a new computer from the ground up. Be (1)

None (2) · A sort of TED talk like presentation. (1) · Essentially this journal was going to be the back up to a video of me camping in the wilderness actually eating these plants. (1) · Fire and its effect on us both in history and in modern day. (1) · I originally started out with an idea to create a book about the physio-psychological impacts of music. But as time went on I kept gravitating towards piano and eventually decided to make a song on piano instead. (1) · I was going to talk about dance and show my solo. (1) · I will give a talk about the dangers of electricity and teach my audience about amperage, voltage, and wattage. My goal is to teach in a way that all audience members can learn: visual, audial, and kinesthetic methods. Talks along with some form of presentation will fulfill two of the three categori (1) · In my Capstone project proposal, I talked about how I planned to write at least one original song and explain the process that I went through to write and record it. (1) · My capstone project was an indoor irrigation system for the plants on top of the book shelves in the Commons. The irrigation system was to be automated and would only need for the reservoir to be filled every so often; everything else would be taken care of by the system. The system would run off of (1) · My original project was going to be a video game coded in C# with a team of two other people aiding in code, assets, and sound design. (1) · My original proposal was learning how to clog and working on my speed and my knowledge of a different dancing type. (1) · This project is intended to bring awareness to the problems with our death investigation system, because there are many. This is not a common topic of conversation so not many people are aware of these issues and that is a problem. (1)

After deciding not to write the book, I felt more comfortable and natural making my capstone with a piano rather than a pencil. I started spending hours at the piano at home. Those three simple notes that gave me the idea for my song were being explored in all different ways I wanted it to go. Nothi (1) · For the final project I am submitting a slide presentation of how I got the idea of learning how to clog instead of taking a video of myself doing the dance with my costume and music. (1) · I couldn’t do some things because of not being able to be at school to receive help. (1) · I expanded the journal with drawings and utility. (1) · I started with a simpler version of this talk because I was going to add an example of what I'm teaching. My goal was to teach the audience with visual, audial, and kinesthetic points for each type of learner. I was going to create a device capable of shocking you at almost any safe voltage and ampe (1) · I used a poem and added my two other dances. (1) · I was originally going to talk more about how it affects us in modern day but it's not as interesting as the history and fire sadly isn't used that much in the daily lives of modern people. (1) · It felt like I had to completely change my project. I had to downsize everything and almost start over. I lost the capability to set up the system how I had originally designed it. In order for the new system to work I had to completely change the way that the water was going to flow to the plants. (1) · My plan was to inform everyone that I could about something I feel strongly about. Everyone I have ever shared this information with didn't know about it and agreed something needs to be done. So the purpose was to make people aware and hopefully start the conversation. So far it has gone according (1) · The game project would have needed more time for us to fully learn Unity and C#, so we were forced to switch to building a computer. This project was still at least in the field of computer science so it still applied to what I will go on to study in college. (1) · The project name was going to be Animal Health including other animals as well but I couldn't include them unfortunately due to having to move. (1) · Things didn't go exactly as planned, of course as stated many times it's not the most polished thing in the world but I feel like I could have maybe added more. (1) · With the basic aspect of my project, yes, it generally went as planned. While I did write the the one song that I originally planned on writing, my project still doesn't look exactly as I imagined it would. (1)

None (1) · I did the best that I could with the time that I had. I made a system that worked and that watered my plants. It is not nearly as fancy or sophisticated as I had originally planned on it being, but I still made it happen and I am proud of it. It was a struggle and a half to completely spin and start (1) · I feel like I actually learned a lot about myself during the whole process. The biggest thing that I got from this is to just trust myself a lot more and not make things harder for myself by being focused on other people besides me. (1) · I knew the information I was providing beforehand, but I learned quite a lot through the process of trying to share that knowledge with others. creating a talk that has a lot of information in it was proven counterproductive as people may get more confused or less drawn toward the subject. It was a (1) · i learned that even though I won't get a grade out of finishing the dance, it is something I want to do. I want to finish it and see it through the end, I think its worth it if i want to further my skills and techniques in dancing. (1) · I learned that not all dog breeds are the same with sicknesses or even injuries, I also learned how to sanitize properly and safely for animals. The takeaways were having to realize that not all you try to save might make it, but at least you tried and gave them hope at the end. (1) · I now know with great detail how all the parts in a computer fit together and can build a computer from the ground up without the assistance of my friend and mentor. (1) · I really love what I’ve made, even if it doesn’t blow you away on the surface, this journal could really morph into something amazing. Sic parvis magna. (1) · I really want to cook now, knowing the impact it has had on my ancestors. Also research can be fun. (1) · It’s one of the coolest things when you type all the code out and it works perfectly on the website (1) · Overall I've learned that I'm capable of writing sheet music. I've improved my playing skills and I've also greatly improved my sheet music skills. Knowing that I created this song makes me feel even more confident about the other works I will come to create in my life. I've also learned that gettin (1) · This project made me wonder how many more systems that are in place have major issues such as this one and how can we fix them to better those systems so that they continue to work for us not against us. (1) · While going to the Tulsa Tech for this capstone, I've learned many different things. Sure there was the initial cyber security, but I've also learned small bits of networking, and operating systems. Mainly different types of cyber attacks as shown in the slideshow, but also different types of connec (1)
