After quitting gymnastics at 13, I've struggled to find an interest that I actually enjoy or find fulfilling!! It's a lot harder than people make it out to be. So, I've decided to run through some different art forms and see what suits me. For capstone, I decided to try some jewelry making. I took s (1) · Before this whole mess started, I was going to be a Stage Manager in our school’s musical production “The Addams Family.” I was given the position as stage manager because my teacher, Ms. Gates, saw me as a responsible student and trusted me to watch over a group of students. At first I was he (1) · I have been a Starbucks Partner for over two years, of that I was a barista for 11 months, a trainer for 9 and a Supervisor for the last 6. It took two separate interviews with two different store managers to finally get the job, but as soon as I did I fell in love with the job, my store, and cowork (1) · In a series of paintings with TSAS subjects, I wanted to showcase many (but not all) people with different background and ethnicity. I wanted to show viewers that although we may look, speak, or act a different way from each other, it shouldn't divide us. Human beings, no matter the people we associ (1) · My capstone is about how my internship at discovery lab affected my future career in teaching. The internship taught me responsibility, patience, and amiability in stressful situations. (1) · My project is fluid painting or paint pouring. I find this very therapeutic and relaxing. (1) · This project is a brief history on the subject of intolerance and racism. Many racial crimes and histories have been buried and replaced with perfect stories that idealize white men. In this project I expose the buried truths that have been ignored for centuries, so people can understand the origin (1)

None (1) · At first my project revolved around wire-wrapping and jewelry in general, and then I realized I enjoy making earrings more. As I continued making earrings and trying to do it with only beading, I realized I enjoyed making earrings out of fun objects and creatures more than only using beading. Anothe (1) · I completely changed mine because I was behind already, school ended, and this is what I could come up with. (1) · I have been super excited about presenting everything I have learned working at Starbucks and promoting within the company since we heard about the capstone project at the end of our sophomore year! As soon as we heard about it I knew I was going to present my promotions at Starbucks and everything (1) · I live very close to Greenwood and my teacher pointed out how vastly important the anniversary was. I felt a responsibility to honor the deaths and educate others on how to prevent these tragedies in the future. (1) · Not everything went exactly as I planned it! While I didn't ever change the premise of my Capstone, I had a lot of issues with productivity and eventually, a lack of supplies. I went from aiming for 24-25 models, down to 18, and finally, 16. I think, on my part, I was trying too hard and trying to d (1) · Things didn't really go as planned at all. I was excited for the upcoming Musical at our school, but Covid-19 started to spread and unfortunately school had to close and the musical was cancelled.
