Don't be too hard on yourself. If you don't meet your own expectations, or anyone else's, that isn't necessarily the worst thing in the world. Room for improvement is just that. Due to lack of enrichment and work, I decided to change my capstone to photography. Luckily enough, I had already been attending a photo class. Ms. Butcher took me under her wing right away to help brainstorm and envision how to build a portfolio and give an artist statement. (1) ·

My first idea was scrapped because I found that I didn’t have a passion for any practical job and couldn’t be happy with settling for an office job. (1) ·
Things absolutely did not go as planned, and I changed my project idea multiple times. In the end, a combination of procrastination, executive dysfunction, depression, and inability to focus left me with nothing to work with and little time to put something together. I feel like I actually learned a lot about myself during the whole process. The biggest thing that I got from this is to just trust myself a lot more and not make things harder for myself by being focused on other people besides me. (1) ·
I learned a lot about myself. I also learned a lot of new art mediums and started looking at it with an even broader perspective. This year I learned a lot, and with learning changes your perspective of things... It makes you better! (1) ·

I've realized I wasn’t happy with living a practical life. I’m not sure if I will go into animation but it’s my #1 option right now. It has the perfect balance of something I like to do and something that is difficult. (1) ·

The project is nothing like I pictured it would be in the beginning, but I think that's okay. The purpose of capstone was to get us to do something new, and, in kind of an indirect way, I have done that. Hopefully that will be enough. While going to the Tulsa Tech for this capstone, I've learned many different things. Sure there was the initial cyber security, but I've also learned small bits of networking, and operating systems.
