I started with an animation video explaining my plan to balance my practical job with my art job. (1) ·
I started with the intention to write the whole book, which would look somewhere around 20 or so chapters. I knew it wouldn't have happened in the end, but I wanted to set the end goal for myself. (1) ·

Due to lack of enrichment and work, I decided to change my capstone to photography. Luckily enough, I had already been attending a photo class. Ms. Butcher took me under her wing right away to help brainstorm and envision how to build a portfolio and give an artist statement. (1) ·
I completely started over and changed my entire project. (1) ·
I instead ended up writing 3 chapters and editing them, and, while I'm not the most proud of how they turned out, I'm glad I was able to finally put out some drafts for later writing. (1) ·
My first idea was scrapped because I found that I didn’t have a passion for any practical job and couldn’t be happy with settling for an office job. (1) ·
My plan did change because I wasn’t planning on making a video, I was planning on making a clear display with my photos hanging and lights around them with what I wrote in the center of my display. (1) ·

Things absolutely did not go as planned, and I changed my project idea multiple times. In the end, a combination of procrastination, executive dysfunction, depression, and inability to focus left me with nothing to work with and little time to put something together. Things went as planned, and I ended up doing way more than I thought. I imagined this project being way smaller, but then again it is only the beginning of this project too. (1)

I've grown immensely as a writer, both objectively and subjectively. I learned how to write and compose scenes of a narrative more clearly, and to make less mistakes and convey my image in better ways. I've realized I wasn’t happy with living a practical life. I’m not sure if I will go into animation but it’s my #1 option right now. It has the perfect balance of something I like to do and something that is difficult. (1) ·
