After quitting gymnastics at 13, I've struggled to find an interest that I actually enjoy or find fulfilling!! It's a lot harder than people make it out to be. So, I've decided to run through some different art forms and see what suits me. For capstone, I decided to try some jewelry making. I took s (1) · I created a website that details the life story of each player on the roster. (1) · I made a video containing a poem read off by me and my three competition dances from senior year. (1) · I've always loved working with kids! I've been volunteering at Mark Twain Elementary for years with my previous teachers and with my youth group. I decided to do my capstone on early childhood learning. I volunteered weekly with Joyce Hembree, a Pre-K teacher at Mark Twain. I assisted her in teachin (1) · My project is basically just a slide show explaining how high school helped me realize that mental illness is very real, and how it helped me find my passion for helping people. It also helped me decide what I want my future career to be. (1) · This is a project of just my everyday life at Tulsa Tech. It also shows the difference between it and a traditional high school. Also how it affected my future and also how it helped me get jobs, internship, etc. (1) · This project is a brief history on the subject of intolerance and racism. Many racial crimes and histories have been buried and replaced with perfect stories that idealize white men. In this project I expose the buried truths that have been ignored for centuries, so people can understand the origin (1) · Throughout the year I have been shooting digital and film photography. I have been experimenting by using black and white as well as color film, and Photoshop! I have taken this opportunity to expand my portfolio. (1) · When I was enrolled in the TV production program at Tulsa Tech me and some friends set out to create a sitcom. I am presenting a part of the script I had written for the series. (1)

At first my project revolved around wire-wrapping and jewelry in general, and then I realized I enjoy making earrings more. As I continued making earrings and trying to do it with only beading, I realized I enjoyed making earrings out of fun objects and creatures more than only using beading. Anothe (1) · For the most part my project went as planned. I went weekly and volunteered at Mark Twain. I also received a job offer after volunteering at the Common Good. The end of my project did not go as planned. I was going to take videos of some of the teachers and students asking about their experience thr (1) · I couldn’t do some things because of not being able to be at school to receive help. (1) · I decided to focus more on the photography part of my project, and that's when I expanded to digital as well as color film. (1) · I live very close to Greenwood and my teacher pointed out how vastly important the anniversary was. I felt a responsibility to honor the deaths and educate others on how to prevent these tragedies in the future. (1) · I used a poem and added my two other dances. (1) · It's kind of similar, but my original idea was based on in person interaction so to change it to be solely online was pretty disappointing. I was still able to get my main point across with relevancy to my career, but I wish it could've been done differently. (1) · We weren't able to film any of it. (1) · Yeah, they went as planned. I had originally planned to do it with my other friends who went to Tulsa Tech, so you could see the comparison between the experiences. (1)
