During the summertime, my mom would take me to Weber’s drive-in when she didn't have work. I always hated the summertime. I wished that the clear skies would turn cloudy, and that the trees would turn colorful again. The birds were annoying when they sang. The sun was piercing, but the crisp taste of cold root brew and sweet vanilla balanced it, to where I didn't care anymore. Thinking about it all now makes me want time to rewind because back then, all my worries were small and silly.
