SketchUp, great for architecture and mechanical designs
OnShape, create CAD models

Blender very powerful program able to create 3D models, edit/compose video files and animation
Sculptris, desktop program similar to SculptGL

Gear Generator
MorphoSource 3D scans of bones and artifacts!
Turn Minecraft models into .stl files with Mineways (Cura also does this natively)
