creating chocolate chip cookies

I remember going to my grandma’s house almost everyday and just being excited to be there. But the cookies she made were always a plus. I vividly remember being too short to see over the counter and having to get the little wooden stepping stool out from under the desk by the front door, somehow it always hit my ankles. And now when I’m over there with my grandma I’m a solid foot taller than her. My cousins and I used to eat spoonfuls of the cookie dough until Nan would yell at us to get out. My memories with her at her house always somehow involve those cookies she makes.
